  RJ Cooper is famous for his research and development of computer software and hardware adaptations for persons with special needs.  He has over eighteen years of experience in this area.  His expertise ranges from mild to severe/profound developmental delays  and both learning and physical disabilities.  He lectures at Adaptive Technology conferences all over the country and has authored the article “Ask RJ” found in the publication “Closing the Gap”.

 RJ will be working with several Pasco County students using a “hands on” approach. He will evaluate and determine the most successful way for each student to access the learning environment.  He will demonstrate strategies, hardware and software adaptations that teachers, therapists and caregivers may be able to incorporate into their daily routines with these students.
