Would you happen to have a more in-depth manual for the Cross Scanner and Onscreen?
All
that we have is what is printed in the readme and help files which are
saved
on
your hard drive at time of installation. You should find them in the Cross
Scanner
and OnScreen folders
--------------
Cross
Scanner is not getting a click through my Don Johnston Swith Interface.
In
the Cross Scanner control panel, under Input Device, choose Mouse-Click.
If this still does not work, choose Keyboard. This sends a space-bar command.
One of the inputs on the Don Johnston switch interface also sends out a
space-bar command.

How do I install and register CrossScanner and OnScreen, while *using* both?
Please try it completely by yourself, with your student there, first.
1)
Download OnScreen and install.
2)
Download CrossScanner and install. Use your current
CrossScanner
to operate the installer. It will ask if you are using
CrossScanner,
and you can CrossScan to the Yes button. The installer
will
shut the old CrossScanner down, and immediately launch the new
CrossScanner
and the installer will click on the Continue Without
Registering
button by itself.
So
now both CrossScanner and OnScreen are operating in
the
'evaluation' mode and will run for 14 days.
To
Register OnScreen:
1)
Using CrossScanner, select the text icon so that OnScreen is on-screen.
2)
CrossScan to the Continue Without Registering
button.
3)
CrossScan to the OnScreen shortcut on your desktop.
This
will launch the Registration dialog to register OnScreen.
4)
Use OnScreen to type into each field of the
Registration
dialog. Sample - 8867-g01-15-ow-22 (the 6th character is a zero)
5) Use CrossScanner to click on OK.
